I keep seeing posts that indicate the option to turn off and on daytime running lights reside on the information display under settings....I go to..vehicle; lighting. and see only one feature.. autolamp delay. Nothing else. Is this normal for some models? Should there not be a box under it entitled daytime lights in settings?

What is it that you want to do? Do you have DRL on your XLT? I don't believe most Explorers built for the U.S. market have them activated at the factory. According to your Manual, there are two types. Type 1 is Non-configurable and Type 2 is Configurable. I would say that you likely have Type 1.

Will have to use Forscan most likely to disable the DRL..I actually enabled them on my '15 Limited.

@Paul S, are you still following your thread?
