No heat, strange noise from dash

2004 xlt, blower works but when you turn on heat or cool, there is a strange "clicking noise" coming from center of dash, just above radio. Any ideas.
I'm a carpenter, not a mechanic,lol

go to the post about blend door actuator . print out the instructions and have at it.


i did mine the other week. cost me 60$ for the part at the dealer.
