Well, this is my first time with a posting....i have a 94 Explorer with 232,000 miles. I just have my first big expense, I blew a head gasket, which also trashed the radiator. Sense then, i have had a anti-freeze smell at start and after reading some other posting I found out the Heater control valve was leaking. I have changed that. My new problem is that i have no heat. It blows fine but the temp stays the same...cool, the every once in a while i will get a blast of hot air then back to cool it goes. Any ideas?

Make sure the vacuum line running to the heater control valve is free of obstructions.

Make sure you didn't install the control valve upside down... (hoses attached to incorrect outlets) That will reverse the flow and no heat is result

Follow the above advice and congrats on the quarter -mil.

sounds like the blend door in your heatrer plenum.

Search for the thread tith either blend door, or eatc.
