no power unless OD turned off

HELP! I have a 3.0 4r44e tranny. when shifted to drive after started the motor revs and barely moves. Reverse does the same. Turn OD off and truck drives and shifts normal. After 50 mph can turn OD on and all is normal until I slow down below 45 the engine revs and tranny acts like in neutral. I have searched for hours and found several people with same problem posting but none posted what they did to fix it. Some post as old as 2008. any ideas? I have replaced the valve body with updated one from central valve bodies. fluid and filter new. No codes ever on tranny.

Make sure you torqued the valve body bolts completely. If you didn't, your tranny will act as if in limp mode.
