No reverse issue.

i have a 99 ford ranger i replaced the the reverse band and the o-rings on servo and gasket as well as the valve body gasket and still no reverse or manual low. what else could cause this

Your post was moved into its own thread in the transmission section. Did you check the rear one way sprag when you had the transmission taken apart? What about the reverse modulation spool valve in the valve body?

yes it was fine. i guess the valve body is next. is there one solenoid that works the reverse only. aznd does the reverse modulation valve also work manual low? now would it be a good idea to just go thru the valvebodt and maybe put in a shift kit or no?
 






Check the reverse, and manual 1st gear hydraulic pressure with a 0 - 300 PSI test gauge before you drop the valve body. Did you use a 1/4" drive In/Lb torque wrench on the valve body bolts? Is your vehicle a 4WD?
