Ive had my Alpine in-dash cd player installed for 1 1/2years now in the explorer and before that in my cavalier.A couple weeks ago my left side speakers started to cut out sometimes. So the other day I took it out and had a guy in the shop redo all the connections hoping that was the problem. I installed it again and now I have no sound at all.

Is there anything you can think of to trace what happened? Is it dead? I really like this deck, could it probably be fixed cheaper than buying a new one.

Thanks

Nobody, nothing at all?

I checked the connections to the Pioneer 6.5's I installed a year ago, and the crappy electrical tape kinda peeled itself off, so I assume it was grounding out. I fixed the connections and put it back together and bench tested the deck I just purchased, because the old one lost the left channel, and it works fine. But I still have NO SOUND!

Please help any ideas how I can test the truck itself?

I dont want to have to run new wires to the doors.
