I went outside to start my truck before work yesterday and it would turn over, but never start. While the previous night was our first freeze of the year, I have never had any cold weather issues with the truck before. I have proved the issue out of the fuel system and have it narrowed down to the ignition system I believe. I have checked for spark on each wire and no spark is present. I tested the ingnition coils, and all three are fine.

Does anyone know where I should check next? I am about one more day from towing it to a shop and having them fix it. Thanks for any advice.

if the coils test fine and the plugs dont fire, then something is wrong with your plug wires..... strange for all of them to be damaged though

If you have access to a timing light, check for blinking with each individual wire.

its the crankshaft position sensor. i had the same problem a few months ago.

the CKP sends the signal to the coil to fire. that is why you're not getting fire at the plugs but your coil is ok.

at least its only a $20 part.

i would try resetting the computer if not it is probrally your crankshaft position sensor

Well, it ended up being the Throttle Body position sensor. Everything else checks out god on th computer. Thanks for all of the help. I ended up basically troubleshooting the entire system.

where is thecrankshaft position sensor i have the same prob
