- 1998 ford explorer sport
Hi my name is Gregg and i am new to the forums. Thank you for having me here.
I am new to posting and might be in the wrong place or this might have been addressed already if so i am sorry.
I have a 1998 explorer sport that stalled on me after pressing on the gas pedal at a intersection. i coasted into a parking lot. the engine will crank over has 37 psi in fuel rail, new plugs, wires(was missfire on #2 cylinder) ran fine for 2 weeks after plug, wire change.Took it to my buddy's shop and put it on computer it showed p0320 so we replaced thr crank shaft sensor idle was good after that ran it for about 5 min then took it on a test drive, about 10 minutes on the road stalled, started it and 10 - 20 sec later it stalled again wouldn't start up after that. so we thought that it was a defective sensor got another one and installed it on the street...again it started and was running for about 2 minutes then stalled again....thats where i am at...this is my only transportation and i provide in home service. if any of you can help point me in the right direction i would appreciate it.
128k miles

the sensors i used where from autozone
Thank you
Gregg
