I disconnected the battery this weekend to perform some maintenance, after reconnecting the cable I find the factory Mach stereo has no power. None of the lights illuminate and when I turn on the power switch nothing. I checked all fuses and they are fine. Anybody expirenence this??

I have not checked to see if there is power at the fuse yet. I thought maybe this was some security feature theft deterant that required some inside knowledge to reset???

Back when I had a factory HU, I disconnected the battery many times for computer resets, etc., and never had a problem.

Good luck.....

never heard of a security feature on the ford HU, check the wiring to the fuse, and to the battery block

I did not check the fuses on the power distribution block under the hood, just checked the fuses on the driver side dash, my bad. I am going to check the power distribution under the hood. Will let you know the outcome.

Bad news, checked for power at every fuse and 12V is available. Potential problem with head unit or power from fuse block to head unit.
