I am getting this whirling type helicopter noise which is coming from my front end. It sounds like a bearing which needs to be replaced but everywhere i have taken it too they tell me it not the bearings. Ford dealer even told me they thought it was the tires which were wearing unevenly from alignment issues. Personally I think it may be coming from the front transfer case but cannot tell. Thanks in advance

rotate your tires from front to back. it could just be the tires and road noise. or see if someone is playing a prank on you and check for zip ties on the front or rear driveshaft. lol but seriously, i have test driven a ranger before and it did the same thing. It was just because the tires had a ton of tread on them. are your tires brand new? are they a mud and snow type tread?

I rotate as need and go by tire manufacturers direction when rotating. I usually go with a AT type tire. Usually I run a Bridgestone Dueller AT/Revo. Currently I have on Pirelli Scorpion AT's.
