noise from front end

Hey,
Ummm I have developed a noise in my front end of my 99X...there is a noise that seems to go "da da da da da da da da da" and the faster I drive the faster the sound....also there is a clunk noise when I go from a stop to start...unrelated to the first noise I described....any Ideas???

Seriously, can you give more description...where do you think the noise is coming from? How loud? Metallic, plastic etc.?
I had a ticking sound from the front of my 99X that drove me crazy. After 6 months of searching I finally found it by accident.
My X was parked out in the street in front of the house...facing into a strong wind. I was walking by it when I heard the noise!!?? I searched all over and finally found out it was that black plastic cover that sits over the headlight housing. The one you open the hood and lift up to see the back of the headlights. Seems the air blowing over it would cause it to vibrate and make an awful noise! A couple black trim screws fixed it.
In other words...carefully check out everything.....you never know! BTW..my ticking/tapping sound changed with vehicle speed too.
