i just cant catch a break from underneath my truck.... everytime i fixed something, something else goes wrong... well not wrong just needs to be replace... first it was the radius arm bushings and then one of them crack and broke so i had to fix it again and then it was the antiraddle clips and now i need new shocks all the way around... Anybody else have bad luck underneath of there truck? or is it just something in geranal with ford????

You almost make it sound like you might be one of a kind but I'm sure most 11 year old vehicles have issues that need to be fixed.

It is something in general with old worn out vehicles. They are machinces that need to be repaired. Changing the shocks on a 93 certainly isn't unreasonable.

The cheapo shocks are only $13-14/corner and only take 5 minutes to change....that's soooo cheap compared to vehicles that have the McPherson struts. Anti-rattle clips only get chewed up by the rotors if they are installed incorrectly, and still only cost a couple of bucks and don't take long to replce. Now the RA bushings are a pain, but in light of how many years it has lasted and how many miles it has kept you from walking, isn't it worth it?

I've had worse luck with glass....windshield, rear window, broken driver's window (goodbye stereo).
