I bought my 97 Sport a few weeks ago and every since I had it there was a noise in the transfercase. It sounded like a bad outputshaft bearing and I had that and the U-joints replaced under warranty.Well it still had the same noise and finally yesterday I took it to a reputable Ford shop. The tech drove it, then put it on the lift. I asked him what he thought and he said it was fine. He said that when these are new they start off quiet and as they gain milage become noisey. Has anyone else experienced a noise in their case? Is this normal?Thanks for the input!
