Noise inside dash after turning ignition off

Has anyone has experience with there being a noise coming somewhere inside the dash after turning the engine off. It's hard to explain but It kinda sounds kind like a boiling noise with some chirping noises mixed in and last 5-10 minutes after turning the engine off. Perhaps it's from running the heater. It's not the noise itself that bothers me, I'm just curious if it means something else is wrong. Thanks for any help.

Unrelated, but if anyone can help me pinpoint this other noise I'll be forever grateful. I replaced the sway bar bushings that eliminated the horrible squeeking everything I hit a bump. But now with that gone I can here a much less annoying but notible sound when hitting bumps or uneven road. It it more of a high pitched chirp than a squeek. It also sounds like it's coming from the rear end.

I have noticed a bubbling noise that lasts a while too. Never have found it. But it is there. My thought is possibly:

Bubbles in heater core
Refrigerant slowly boiling off in the evaporator

I have it too. Doesn't worry me much.

I have this problem with my 1997 Mountaineer as well. I attribute it to the heater.

Okay thanks guys! I heard something about it you raise the front of the car, making the radiator cap the highest point and start the engine running the heater on high, you can get rid of some of the trapped air. I might ty that but won't worry about it too much.

No but keep in mind unless it was actually set on "Off" many of the modes will run the compressor as needed.

If EATC means climate control then no I don't, just the knobs
