i knowi posted in two forums but maybe i'll get more help
ok, so my 1996 explorer 5.0 H/O motor is driving me nuts, at around 1500-2200 rpm there's a noise from the front of the motor sounds like a wet drive belt, my belt is new and i spray about once a month , my idler is new, tensioner is new, all my pulleys are aligned and have less then normal play, along with the noise is a slight vibration just enough to drive me nuts. I am suspecting the fan clutch but the temp is normal, the blades do not free wheel, there''s no lose of power or hesitation the truck runs awesome, anyone have any suggestions?
