Hi All,
I've done a lot of searches on these forums - and on the internet in general - about cleaning my throttle body. But everything is so mixed as to whether the car should/shouldn't be running, whether the throttle body should/shouldn't be removed, and what I should/shouldn't spray.
I hate to be so green behind the ears, but I'm posting to find out if I could just remove my intake, (stock), unbolt/remove my plastic cover, and spray in my throttle body? I'm not a fan of removing the TB, but I'm just wondering if the car is supposed to be running at some point - like while I'm spraying the cleaner, etc.
Sorry if this thread is a bit confusing - I think I've read waaaay too many posts.
: Oh, and it's a 99 SOHC XLT if that makes a difference.
Thanks!
