Welcome to the forum!

That is the Vapor management valve. It is used to direct fuel vapors from the Evaporative emissions canister to the engine when it is running for their disposal. Shop manual states that the battery ground (negative) should be disconnected and not to smoke or bring anything near the area to ignite the vapors when servicing it.

There are pictures of it clean in this thread. Why do you ask? It looks like your fluid leak may be coming from higher up than the valve in those pictures.

Thanks. I'm trying to locate the leak but unsure where it might be coming from. From the color of the fluid it looks like ATF or ps but I didn't think there were any lines connected to either system above that. I wasn't sure what that part was I wondered if it could possibly be connected but obviously not. The search continues. Thanks again for the info.

No problem. Try to clean up the area with some paper towels, and maybe an engine bay degreaser. Then when the fluid begins to leak again you'll be able to see where it's coming from.

Thanks. Do you have any idea what could be leaking above that?

Nope. Need more pictures of the area. You can take off the plastic inner fender liner to see like I showed in my pictures. It's held to the fender by about six bolts I believe.
