Not specific to Explorers. Dad has a Dodge Dakota 4Wheel drive. He and many owners of these vehicles complain that they fall short of braking power (when it counts). Actually I feel that way about my 'X' too.
We see a company out there called HAWK PERFORMANCE and they sell several different compounds of brake pad that is supposed to be superior to others . I know, everyone advertizes that. That's why I'm asking. HAs anyone thrown a set of these on a vehicle and said " damn, I can actually notice a difference?"
