HI all! i just bought my 02 XLT this week and i am looking forward about having a lowered xplorer, bad thing is i dont know anything about how to lower my truck, can someone help me where to start off and some custom body kits etc as well as coil springs, rims and tires? thanx

The 2002 4door suspension is completely different than the 95-2001 suspension both front and rear.

hey thanx, does that mean if ya have the 02 there's not so much shops that can offer a lowering kit? and can you please tell me where can i buy those alteeza tail lights? sounds cool to start of with the mods. Thank u!!!

right now its gonna be hard to find stuff for the 2002 4door. Manufacturers have to make sure there is a market and then design products and work out all the kinks before they offer it.

Suprisingly, there is a lowering kit available for the 2002 4door Explorer. The kit is made by Ground Force and it is fairly inexpensive. Here's the link:

heya hartman thanx for the info, this would seem to be nice, but i was thinking of getting from Z doctor the x spec, but this is a good start. thanx again, anyone have any more suggestions? thanx in advance
