O/D light flashing. Shifting hard into 2nd gear?

I know this has been visited but I am going to do something soon. My 02 Explorer has been doing this for a few years and it is still going. CK engine light is on.

I may want to trade or sell her this fall and want to get this fixed. I guess I have put 15k on her since the o/d light first started flashing. She has always shifted hard since the day I got her at 52k now she has 166k.

Help?

Get the code. It is probably either the solenoid block or the servos.

Sounds like the dreaded servo bore wear issue to me.
