O1 Sport gets some PIAA 980's

I finally got my PIAA 980's I have been wanting to get these for a while and finally got off my duff and got a set. I mounted them to a piece of angle aluminum across the frame mounts where the factory tow hooks. I removed them, never plan on using them. The 90 degree 2"x2" angle aluminum powder coated black. Wired it all up and mounted the switch by my factory light knob. Looks nice and clean. I like the additional light as well.

Also notice my Factory Fog lihts are now Yellow!

I really like the color scheem with my lighting. The Bluish of the HID with Canary Yellow Fogs, and the Orange turn signals. I will have pics tomorrow night of all the lights at night.

hey nice X, just wonderin how did you take off the factory honey comb grill? I would like to do this also, it looks freakin great without it.

I am wondering how hard it was to take it off and.... why you took it off? I mean are you gonna get a speed grill in the future? Because the one I am getting goes right over the factory grill. I can not wait for Piaa, hid and fog pics at the same time just whiteness!

i'm getting a street scene speed grill, does it go over the factory one? i don't think it would look good like that

Yeah Insomniac, I am getting the same grill. It goes on perfectly over the orginal grill (just look at naplesbill). I dont think you can even see the factory grill after you throw the street scene one on. How much are you buying yours for? Top and lower?

Oh, I totally forgot about the removal of the grill. I took it out the other day when I was changing my oil. All I did was remove the little bolts on the top plastic plate under the hood right on top of the grille and then it just pops out with about 4 tabs. I am getting a billet grille, but I hated the honey comb grille. So I took it out.

I am getting the Trenz grille. It goes in behind the black part. All one piece and fills all four holes.
