Apparently I'm getting old, cause I can't get this darn thing out anymore. Or maybe it was just as bad last time and I don't remember because it was so long ago.

I always use the other style the puts a 3/8 ratchet head to the side of it so you can get more leverage. Try running the truck for a bit to heat it up.

I tried heating it a couple times. Then I went underneath with a wrench, still couldn't budge it. Guess I didn't put anti-seize on it however many years ago I did them all.

I changed the one that is accessed from underneath, no problem. That's the driver's side primary, but everything I've read days that the bank 1 primary is the other one. Is the passenger side really bank 1? Code was P0133. I'll find out when I drive it a little, but if it comes on again I think I'll just get it done when I get the tranny out to replace the rear main seal.

OK, so Cylinder #1 is passenger side, so that's why that's bank 1. So, I'm sure it'll come back. Would be nice to get lucky and have it stay off long enough to get through inspection. I'm already overdue, and have 5 days until my registration expires. Ugh!

I guess I can try the other style tool and see if it move it over enough that I don't need a swivel on the end of the socket. That's what prevents me from getting enough leverage.

Well, when I cleared the code again, it didn't come back, so I got it through inspection. Of course, harbor freight was out of stock on the offset socket, so i can't try that yet. No rush now I guess!

I'm having trouble with these sensors as well . . . that panel that you removed - where was that?

That appears to be the access panel under the middle console on the transmission tunnel.

Yes, you have to remove the center console to get access to the panel.

That may be fun . . . the vehicles built for Australia don't have the column shift auto - they have the T-bar style that comes up through that area.
So probably the same issue as anyone with a manual gearbox I suppose.
I'll try the wheel well thing first. Thanks guys.
