1 after reading the threads concerning replacing the rear shocks on my explorer I spent the best 164.00 rather than put up with the hassle. A previous quote was 230.00.

2. I found out the dealership took me for a ride with a check engine light issue which turned out to be a formed hose to the PCV valve found the link yesterday.335.00 for a 12.00 part.

3. found the fix for my cruise control problem working fine now.

as well as numerous other how to's. please keep up the good work.

I do have a little concern about some of the posts of some novices like myself and how procedures are described. Not poking sticks in anyones eye buy they are some times confusing.

The rear shocks are simple to replace, I just dont understand how people have issues changing them. If you get confused by someones directions ask them to clarify, I do all the time, are ask for pics.

And welcome to the site....

This is a great site and I probably could have done it myself it was just a time investment and i'm not as young as I used to be.

I have found a wealth of info here and appreciate everyones contributions. I am in fact going to replace the pads and rotors on my 03 sport trac this weekend.

You just have to stop spending that $$$ without checking out this forum first.

Yep, that's right. Between this site and MySportTrac.com I've saved thousands, made alot of friends and became part of a worldwide family. I only wish I lived closer to other members, kind of a loner up here in Pittsburgh, Pa..

Yeah, next time I go to the Dairy Queen I'm going to sneak around the corner and card James' Sport Trac! :D:D

Jerry Gerner over at MYST.com is in Pittsburgh too. We've met for breakfast at the Bob Evans in Cranberry. Technically I live in Beaver County.

Your gonna do what to my truck?

Johnny, I'm Jerry from the other site (MidnightRebel) was my C.B. handle when I drove over the road and the (07) is because I usaully only drink jack Daniel's Black Label. We're like the only ones from our area that still come onto these sites. I know there's another member up in Cranberry with a Gen 2 that has his lifted, never met him but have talked to him thru the other site a couple times back in '09. Haven't heard from him since though, not sure if he still has his Trac.

I don't know a James Tilghman but he is probablin kin somehow. My dads parents were from the Rockingham/Southern Pines area and lived in Chapel Hill.

Sorry Joseph, about my mistake of your first name. I worked for years with a James Tillman so even though I "thought" Joseph I typed James. My apologies.:(

I learn something every day. LOL.
We should do breakfast again sometime.

Yeah, now that it's warming up finally. It was too cold last time. Maybe this weekend or next.
