Odd vibration

Hey guys I'm new to the site and I just bought a 2002 Limited a couple of weeks ago and have a couple of questions.

1. I've noticed that once in a while it has a wierd vibration when I leave from a dead stop and turn the wheel. It only last till about 12mph. You can feel it on the drivers side mostly.

2. It currently has 265 75 16 Goodyears - will I notice much difference in gas mileage and in the way it shifts if I put the stock 245's back on?

Im no help 2 u but just wanted to send a hello to a fellow michigander, and black 2002 Limited owner. I got mine 2 days ago. Might want to check the ball joints. Best of luck.

I had 265/70/17 on my vehicle since shortly after I got it... never a problem. Until the struts were changed, then some issues came up, but no vibrations. Did you check out the wheel wells for signs of rubbing?
