Guys,
I am still looking for an X. I have another question though. On the pre-2002 Explorers (the ones with the non-digital odometers) what is to keep someone from disconnecting the speedometer cable and frauding the mileage? I am told that with the new digital odometers that the truck won't shift if it is an automatic and the computer doesn't see the input. Any truth to this? The reason I am asking is because I recently looked at a 2001 Eddie Bauer that allegedly had 8,000 miles on it. The truck was pretty clean, but I was skeptical about it and stayed away.
Thanks,
Todd
