I already put it in my phone as a contact. I'll remove the strikers as soon as it warms up enough to get them out of the bed, might use a small propane torch to heat up the Loctite they put on them to make it easier. I'll look for the longer torsion bar bolts to, I'm pretty sure I still have them somewhere. Maybe shop around to see what the prices are on them. I'll look up and see if they are the same bars used in the 2nd Gen Ex's, if so I could probably get a set of good used ones from my buddy that works at the junkyard right up the road. He has a bunch of Ex's up there.

Ok, so what I've found online is that the strongest bar out there factory is spring code #1 bar. These were used on Rangers, Explorers and ST's.

Bars with the highest spring rate (#1 ), these are the full Ford part numbers:

F67Z-5B326-FA Pass side bar
F67Z-5B326-FB Drivers side bar

Looks like it was listed over the weekend. If Milwaukee was closer, I'd jump on it. Looks silver in the pic - like my '02! Where was this last year when I was looking????!!
 






That's a he'll of a deal for a cap. To bad I live in PA. I would buy it and resell it for more.

I've been wanting to do half doors for years now, just don't find any ST's for parts around here, when they do come up I don't have money.
