Offroad lights

I am wanting to put lights on the top of my x. I was wondering since I don't use my luggage rack if it would be a good idea to put the lights on the front rail of the rack. Has anybody else done it?

Roof lights

I have four lights mounted to my '94's factory roof rack. If you want some pictures or tips just ask. They work great up there for me.
