Is there any way to test the temp sensor to see if it is bad or not? Mine is showing about 20 degrees cool constantly. The sensor is basically a resistor that varies with temperature right? So there is a negative flow between the black/blue and black/white wires, and the sensor in between changes how much resistance it throws in. Is that how it works? Anyone know what kind of readings I should get in 80-90 degree weather?
I read on an old post on RPS that there is some thermo-resistor thingie I can get at radio shack that works the same as the factory sensor. Can anyone provide more info on that? I have the sensor in the interior so I don't think it matters if it has a protective housing or not.
