hello all and happy new year.i have a question with the oil gage in my 03 ST,i noticed last month that the needle rides below the stop pin on the gage,when the truck is shut off,the needle drops down even lower and when the truck is started,the needle jumps up and stops on the stop pin,but the bottom side of it.the motor has only 76k on it and runs great.it seems that the gage has spun counter clockwise about 270 degrees.when i first noticed this,i immediatly shut the truck off but realized it was the gage going goofy.has anyone ever encountered this before,and will a new sending unit help?i want to sell this st because i picked up annother 03,but an xlt,4wd auto that needed a tranni(all done).this one is a 5speed 2wd,and other than the gage being messed up,it's a great truck.thanks for any replys,v.j.metallo
