Hello everyone, A few of you know I just had the timing chains done in my 98 explorer sport with the 4.0 SOHC. The pretend oil gauge is going to the high side and staying there even when the motors off. I have checked for loose grounds and all is well. I don't think this is an emergency right now, but I am getting a ever so slight whiff of oil once in a great while sense I have gotten it back. I have checked the oil and it is full. There is no check engine light as of yet but that does not mean anything. Anyone here ever have this problem?

Solved! Took apart speedometer and removed the needle and put it back in its proper spot. This came after I removed the gauge face to paint red and then re-assembled it and did not properly re install it. All good!
