I have a 2002 ford explorer. white smoke was coming out of the exhaust. found out that oil was in the intake manifold. i cleaned that out and replaced my pcv valve. that fixed the problem for about a week. now there is more oil in the intake manifold. what else could be the problem?

You will always have some oil in the intake manifold on every engine due to the pcv valve. A aftermarket catch can will help but I wouldn't personally worry about it.
