i have a 1991 explorer that is leaking oil horribly. When the car is running it literally get pumped out in a constant stream of oil. I want to check the oil pressure sending unit because i've heard it is a common thing to leak from, But i dont know where it is. If anyone can give me a general idea of where it is i'd appreciate it,

Thanks,

nevermind, it was caused by a hole in the oil filter

heh, there was a support for the wireing harness that broke or somthing and was hanging down touching the filter and the constatn vibration must have rubed the hole in it, which explains why the oil only dripped with the engine off and poured with engine pressure.

But we tied the thigy back so it shouldnt happen again
