Oil pump help...

2002 XLT 4.0 -

Has anyone replaced the Oil Pump.....how hard is it to do ???

well first off if your oil pump went out chances are so did your bearings when you drop the oil pan the pump is right there it isnt hard at all to change if your bearings are still intact you may have clearance problems removing the oil pan and if you do you would have to release the motor mounts and raise the engine high enough to remove the pan... hope this helps
