Alright!!

Here it is. I have had problems with the oil "guage" shifting around towards the low side lately and my lifters making a ticking noise on startup. I had a friend of mine talk w/ a ford mechanic and he said that my oil pump might being going up. Granted I'm getting toward 88k and its a 91'. The other thought that I had was its getting cold up here in NY and Im running 10w30. I was thinking of flushing it w/ a quart of ATF then draining and running 5W30 Half blend. Maybe I should do both. Does anyone know how to tell if the pump is going for sure?

hey thats sounds i have 91 sport and stopped the lifter from
clicking when i put atf in there.

To check your pump put a gauge on it before you worry about whether it's the pump. Pump replacement means removing the engine! 40 -60 psi hot @ 2000rpm. Could be just a bad lifter.
