well the wonderful indiana weather has gone from 86 degrees to 48 in 2 days.
get in my truck today after work and i needed heat...turn the knob over to the far red side on the middle blend door control. then turn it to vent and floor postion and cold air..all the way home it blew out really cold air. never even got close to getting warm. truck ran at normal temp...
the blower settings all work fine. When i use the blend setting, on the highest heat setting it comes out cold...when i turn it down it seems to come out cooler...
the vent control, every one of those works, when on a/c it gets some what colder (my a/c isn't great to begin with).
under the hood the clutch thing (i forget what its called) it does click on and off like it usually does. and the hoses that lead to the heater core are warm.
I checked the fuses...i guess they were ok, not sure what ones to check out though...let me knwo what ones i should check out
whats up with this? i fear it is the blend door problem....your thoughts?
any advice?
thanks!
