Hey Guys new to the furoms I've been a while in allfordmustang.com furom.
I got a Mercury Mountaineer 2002 4.6L and the transmission never had oil change, It started w/ like a kick with knoking and sometimes a minor slipage and added with some other out of normal activity, I added lucas oil and it seem to get better but by the days i got as same as the old days just withtout the minor slipage the oil has no sings of calamine (metal residue) it just looks burn
shall i make a routine oil transmission change ??
i'm scared that if i do i'll get more slipage or even trans brake down
