i think they're called splash gaurds, and if you paint them the same color of your body, it'll look 10 times better

yes splash guards thnx

and if i was streeter i would but i offroad my truck atleast twice a week and with the rocks and mud and washing it it wont look good plus wont stay as well...
PEACE

well i'd either go to the junkyard and get some of the factory ones with the chrome "tape" stuff still on it, its pretty durable for mud and stuff, or leave em off

when i had them on there they were chrome till i painted them black i coudl always go back to the chrome by jsut stripping the paint but im trying to eliminate the chrome on my truck ..............

all my bumpers and grill and stuff is vblack now jsut have to repaint the inside of the moldings.......

PEACE

just take the chrome "tape" off like james t did, he did a write up on how to do it, and then the paint will stick, either that or just sand the crap out of it, then paint it, NOTE:paint wont stick to a smooth surface.

XplorerKid me and several other members are kinda worried about you:D

XplorerKid, haven't you seen the "South Park-Mr. Hanky Christmas Special"? If not, then watch it. If you have then you know it's not nice to fling poo at people, mmmkay. As for your splashguards, I agree with Campo about the herculiner.

Herc them - best thing you will ever do. In fact - herc everything below the mid-door trim :D

J

I don't see a problem with painting it the same color as the truck. I think that would look pretty cool.
btw-its not a street thing.
and if you hurculine, be sure to keep it away from your hootus! i don't want a message on aol saying how do i get it off!

You just couldn't stay away from Gerald's Hootus, could you:D

Are you kidding me? Ofcourse with the factory splash guard ON. It looks too gheto without it.

Now maybe if you filled and smooth it out then it would look fly, dawg...

and yes i will keep the herc of my hootus:p :D

I voted off, but I'm talking whip-out-the-sawzall-and-cut-that-crap-OFF. Dead weight. Useless. Unnecessary. Get rid of it! More room for rocks. Of course, then you'll start thinking...

Without these rocker panels, I'd have a lot more clearance.

These fenders are WAY too close to my tires!

These bumpers are killing my approach/departure angles.

Man, I sure could see better without these doors!

Carpet?! Carpet is for sissies!!

Pretty soon...
