Question to everyone out there that has performed 00M12 themselves.I have an 00 explorer with 18000 miles that has the cold idle cold weather surging.I do not have the tensioner problem at this time so I was not going to do it.Has anyone used fel-pro ms90890 gaskets instead of the kit from ford.Was wondering if those are the updated o-rings.Every auto part store in queens NY needs to order it plus shipping so I can't look at it before ordering it.Would rather do such a simple procedure myself and not give the dealer a chance at breaking something and then charging me so that they make money on the job.Call me paranoid but it has happened to me before and probably has happened to others on this board.Appriciate everyones input.
