Opinions on MTX Thunder Bass Package

Would anyone recommend this MTX system?
I'm obviously not looking for a competition setup, but something that will thump enough to sound good.

Sounds like a good deal to me. That amp was recommended to me by one of the experienced audio guys from here.

For the price I think it looks really good, I would find someone near you that has those subs and demo them but if you like them then buy.

What do I get for $500

I'm very handy, so I know I could build my own box, but not sure what route to go.
I was thinking about a JBL 600.1 amp and 2 ED 12 KX's....
Any thoughts?

Built with the correct box and amp the ED subs will outperform those MTX's by a longshot... you just need to make sure you make the box correctly... go for the K's =)

k...cool, think I'll go with one ED 12 e12k, now I just need to decide on the amp...anyone know about Coustic amps? Are they ok for the money?

Actually, I wouldn't get the 4500s. I think for a little more, you could get a tri box off eBay (3 mtx 10" 6000s) and an amp....

Haven't you learned not to get amp's off ebay? How many of your Pioneer's have burned up?

I didn't mean get the amp off eBay... I ment get the subs...

and 2 out of my 3 amps have blown... F(#$ Pioneer!!!!!!!!
