Here's my 97 sport with the 4" superlift installed.....I want 33x12.5 but I'm not sure if they will fit with the sport trim... I'm pretty sure 32x 11.5 will fit with little or no trimming... But I've been thinking about going a 2" bl to clear the 33's.... What would ya'll do???? Thanks for opinions....

i'd add a 3" body lift just because it'll make it look better. or atleast a 2" cuz 6"-7" lift looks good with some 33's. u could trim and make it fit but.... i don't like the crammed look. i like the lifted look. ofcourse its more "practical" to keep it as low as possible and blah blah blah. but i'm sure u know that. look for EXPLORERDMB he's got a 3" body 4" suspension and 33's and i think it looks great like that.

i just have shackles and TT and i ride 32/11.5s... you can fit 33s

Add a torsion twist and shackles and you could run 35s with only minor trimming. You'll be able to put 33x12.5s on there like it is now with no problems, the tires might catch on the corner of the molding but thats easy to trim.

im running 32x11.5 with just 3" BL on my sport

You could probably fit 33's with like a 1" torsion twist and a add-a-leaf in the rear. If not, just crank it up some more or trim it. More pictures are in my signature.

Damn Drew, that is a beautiful Ex.. I would love to get mine looking like that but the wife has put a limit on what I can do to the "family" ride... :)

Thanks everyone for your input I think I'm going ith a 2" body lift and 33x12.5

If you dont mind me asking how much did that run you ?

I have to look at the receipt if I can find it because I bought some mickey II's also. It was around 1500 bucks.... Its a great and clean kit.... Ride quality is better than it ever was stock...... It really gives the explorer some balls offroad too.....

did you just 2" body lift or do any shackles and TT?

I got the 4" superlift kit and like 1" torsion twist and I got 32x11.50's and had to trim plastic...

This is what it looks like now....

I need to get pic beside a stock ex....

You haven't been on Harris Blvd. in Charlotte recently have you? I saw an ex that looked alot like yours. Looks great by the way.

though the superlift kit actually lowers ur clearence....

Hampstead is halfway between Wilmington and Surfcity/Topsail beach.... Nah I haven't been in charlotte in a while a year or so.. The kit lifts the truck 4 inches.... I don't think it gives the full 4 inches... like maybe 2 inches lift from the kit itself... because of the way the crossmembers are designed...but my tires give me 2 inches also... so I probably gained 4 inches in clearance and 6 in overall lift.... Thanks guys

Hey jemieh, what was the name of the place where you got all this done. I have a beach house down in Carolina Beach, and might stop down to check out prices, etc. this spring break.
