2 days ago i just put a set a WAR shackles and TT on my X. I did it in my high school shop class and during the process my teacher told me that I might want to get some new shocks. I know he isn't trying to get to to just blow some money but i found some shocks that i might want and just wanted to see what you guys think about them.

Here's the link: http://www.4wheelparts.com/PPT5410T100423.aspx

Thanks,
Justin

...i have those on my ranger and i love em...they are good but forgiving...the 9000's are firmer like the rancho's and i didn't like the ride...the good thing about them is that they are lifetime waranteed and 4wheelparts will replace if needed...just be sure to see if that still applies to new sales of shocks...;)

I had the ProComp 4000's on a 99EX Sport. They were great on the highway and awesome on mild off road trails. I would recomend them.

i have bilstein heavy duty shocks, they feel grrrrrrrreat

I take it these are a longer travel shock? It seems my ride has slightly improved since the lift and new shocks, monroe.

yes they're a longer travel. i ended up ordering the procomp es9000's instead. when you order they ask for how much lift you have, if any, and i chose 2 inches so my guess is they will be longer than the stock to accomodate the lift.

thanks again for the help guys,
-Justin
