Actually, priorities work differently than what you might think. Priority is specific to a dealership and even if your dealership gives you a 50 priority, you might still be first in line for that dealership. A smart ordering manager, will normally give the highest priority vehicle a 10 and go by 10's from there for subsequent orders. If he gets more than 10 more orders in a month he can start chopping it up, going by 5's and ultimately 1's. This gives them room in case something comes up and they need to give a 9 or lower priority for emergencies (or someone paying cash willing to pay over MSRP ). 10 is usually considered a good/high priority generally speaking. It's highly doubtful your dealership has 1-9 priorities filled.
