Hello all,

This morning on my drive to work, the O/D lights on my dashboard starting flashing. When I pressed the button in the steering wheel lever, the light didn't go off and kept flashing. Does anyone know why it's doing that, and is this something to worry about?

Thanks

You might need to get it scanned for codes, it could be a number of things ranging from a bad torque convertor to even a bad overdrive band. However you can reset the computer just by disconnecting the battery.

Do you notice any weird shifts? i had soem hard shifts and it was my valve body. But it definitely needs a code scan.

BLEE1099 - I'll do that at lunchtime to see if it works. Will this mess up any other settings on the vehicle?

ALLOUTWAR13 - As far as the hard shifts, when I noticed the flashing light on the dashboard, I pressed the O/D button and it kind of slowed down a bit. I pulled over, turned the car off, turned it back on and got back on the road. The ride didn't feel any different than before the O/D light started flashing.

it'll reset your radio stations :)
