Driving to work today i noticed my truck over heating . Got to work anr noticed it was.leaking coolant from pass side of the engine. It was also steaming out of the top of the engine block. I couldnt pin point the leak cause i didnt have time but it did not look like it was from a hose. Any suggestions.

Did you check the thermostat housing? Mine did this and the front of it had cracked.

no i havent i will be checking it when i get back. Thanks for the tips, ill let you know what i find out.

Good luck man.

It could be a number of things. My brother's taurus did the same thing and it was a combination of several things. Radiator was clogged and nasty, there was several cracks in the spill over tank (the plastic tank next to your windshield washer fluid), thermostat housing was cracked.

Anyways, check all your lines, check your overfill tank for leaks and if you have the time, take it somewhere and have the radiator flushed out
