overloaded the system. Need a new clutch

hey guys
I have 2002 explored 5 speed. I drove the car from Miami to new York on the G.W bridge I used the clutch too much and I had a heavy load. The clutch engage just fine but the car does produce a smell. Now I am thinking that I need to replace the clutch. What would be the cost and does anyone know a good mechanics in the Milford area , CT

I can't recommend a mechanic but don't tow in 5th gear with your X. The M5ODR1 and M5ODR1-HDs (which is what you have) aren't strong enough to tow in 5th without frying your transmission.
