I was trying to get rid of some AC vent odor, so I picked up a bottle of Ozium (like some others here have suggested). Rather then getting the original scent, I threw caution to the wind and bought the "New Car Scent" flavor.

I turned on the AC and put the fan on high, then sprayed some Ozium into the vent intake -- hopefully cleaning the odor out of the ducts and replacing it with a fresh new-car smell. :smoke: When I got back in the truck, I had to roll the windows down before I puked! Now my ride smells like dead fish, its the most revolting smell -- I don't know how they think this is like a "new car". The Ozium factory must be in New Jersey or something.

Buyer beware!

I did that too. I bought it, sprayed it then returned it. I'm glad I did that. Hated that crap!!!

The smell from your vents is fungus growing in the evaporator box from all the humidity. There are special chemicals made to kill the fugus, worth using. You might be able to get away with a 10% bleach/90% water solution in a spray bottle.
