Over the past year ive gotten the P0125 code for the engine not reaching proper temp to enter closed loop.... Ive cleared the code and it stays off for about 6 months or so.
The other day ive noticed that the radiator fan turns on upon start up even when the engine is cold.
Im assuming this is related to the P0125 code somehow because if the fan is cooling the engine when its not needed it will not reach the required temp to enter the closed loop?
i believe the fan gets its signal to turn on from the engine/ coolant temp sender correct?
however if that sender was bad wouldnt that trip a hard fault and trigger a CEL for that???
