This has been going on since I replaced the intake manifold gaskets a few months back. It only runs rough in this scenario, which is what finally tripped the check engine light this evening. I drive the truck until it's warm, cut the engine off for about 10-15 minutes, and when I start it again it misses and hunts for idle. I can press the accelerator or just start driving and it smooths right out. It's like a certain amount of cooling off causes the miss but it's smooth as silk any other time.
I assumed it was broken tps wiring, which I fixed recently, but that has not solved the issue. New intake and valve cover gaskets, new plugs and wires, all motorcraft parts.
