Second update on the OD issue:
Seems there is just a grounding fault, in the circuit for it under the dash. Something was/is causing the fuse to blow. Shuffling the wiring for the switch harness, the fuse box harness, and the bulkhead connector, has stopped the grounding for now, and fuse is holding. OD is working as it should, for now.
Still have to fix the non working high mount brake light / tow brake light / tail light circuit. Suspected dash harness splice to BOO switch causing the grounding issue, that is blowing the fuse here.
