Hello,
Engine light is on since some days and there is a light idle shacking maybe two or three times until now. Starting and driving is the same. No big changes until now.
The OBD says (see image):
...Inspect for Faulty Vacuum Hose(s)...
P2195 O2 Sensor Signal Stuck Lean Bank 1 Sensor 1
P0135 O2 Heater Circuit (Bank 1, Sensor 1)
What could be the problem? Did someone have the same problem?

There is a 90 degree rubber elbow on a vacuum tube located near the oil filler neck. these often crack causing the lean code to trip. Look carefully, sometimes the crack is really hard to spot even when it's a big one. Good luck.

I changed the 90 degree rubber elbow (Thank you) and for about 200 miles the engine light was off. Now the light is on once again: P2195 is gone but P0135 is back.
The OBD says:
Replace Oxygen Sensor(s) (O2S)
Definition:
Code P0135 indicates a fault in the Bank 1, Sensor 1 O2 Heater electrical circuit for a predetermined period of time.
Error Codes Read:
P0135 O2 Heater Circuit (Bank 1, Sensor 1)
Is the sensor the problem? Or could it be something else? Which sensor is it?
Only to ad this: There was only one (1) time a light trembled in idle speed and a short time later the engine light was on once again.
Thank you.

usually a bank 1 sensor 1 error is caused by a vacuum leak upstream of the cat converter. you are going to need to inspect all your vacuum lines, plastic tubes, rubber hoses for cracks or tears. then once you confirm that there are no leaks, then look into replacing that bank one sensor. A lean reading points to a vacuum leak somewhere.

What is the best product (WD-40, brake cleaner, etc.) to find a vacuum leak without the need having a fire extinguisher at hand?
Thank you.

Just use WD40 or carb cleaner. Check first thing in the morning when the engine is cool. Fire it up, and check quickly before the block gets hot if you are worried about lighting yourself on fire. Have an extinguisher handy for piece of mind. You don't need to drench everything. Just hit the intake manifold where the gasket is, and the vacuum lines and hoses lightly with carb cleaner or WD40, if the engine picks up a bit as you spray, that's where the leak is. Good luck.

Check fuse 41 in battery junction box, visually inspect wire harness to o2 sensor B1S1, right side o2 before cat, if no problems are found replace sensor

Which sensor is it in driving direction? Left or right side?
Answer:
The 2003 Ford Explorer Sport Trac has only 1 Downstream and 1 Upstream Sensor.
My problem sensor is the upstream (located before catalytic converter).
